Paula Le Baigue

Paula Le Baigue is a London born artist now living in Northamptonshire. She has been a practicing art for the past 16 years and has completed a BA and MA degree at the University of Northampton.

The inspiration for her work comes from the love of urban exploration of derelict building and also the Japanese wabi-sabi which is centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. For her abstract bodies of work, Le Baigue uses rust paint, verdigris, crackle paste and texture pastes.

Her work highlights the beauty of the making process through which she experiments with alternative mediums such as building materials.
