A mixed media artist, with work generally two dimensional, in media that ranges from oils and graphite to handmade paper, chicken wire, and rabbit size.
Concepts historically are bound in the act of remembering, along with retrospections and memories. With this in mind, communicating ideas through the concept of a core sample has been investigated with the exploration of what a core sample of memory would look like through the spectrum of images and hues of colour, with the intention of cognizance of the act of remembering in the viewer.
Recent inquiries have looked at maritime zones with concepts being communicated through areas such as the Photic Zone, which is the top layer nearest the surface of the ocean. Here recent remembrances would be conveyed. Hidden, secretive, or forgotten memories would be communicated within the Disphotic or twilight Zone where there is no light.
